Paints, crayons and pastels. Cardboard, tissue paper and string! Fabric and lace and macaroni and glue guns! What can you make? What inspires you? Your 2 year old? Your 5, or 7 year old? Your Mother in law? This is free art play at its best. We’ll put the plastic on the floor and we’ll clean up the mess. Make a mural, a mobile, a collage, or just watch your kid create an entire city with a bottle of Elmers glue. She can see it, you know she can.

What’s that gee-tar doing gathering dust in the closet? Didn’t you make that resolution a whole year ago to learn some of those kid’s songs so you could play ‘em right to your own? Here’s your chance… This group guitar class is for the absolute beginner. We’ll get you around the basic chords so that you’re confidently making the music that you’ve been hearing for months on those kid’s cd’s. Perfect for fun play, family sing alongs, and soothing nighttime lullabies. Don’t worry, we’ll show you ‘Smoke on the Water’ too. It can’t be all about the kids, right? $150 (six group sessions)
Music Together®
(mixed-age classes, newborns to 4 yrs. click here to find out more!)
Classes begin July 1st
This is the essential Music Together class, one that a child can attend from birth through age four through all nine song collections. This basic class follows the recommendations of child development researchers—grouping children of a variety of ages because this fosters natural, family-style learning. Younger children enjoy watching and imitating older ones; older children learn by leading younger ones; and adults are happy because the children in the family can go to class together. Each child participates at his or her own level in singing, moving, chanting, listening, watching, or exploring musical instruments. Any caregivers—parents, grandparents, nanny—can bring the children. The whole family is welcome for this important family music experience.

YOGA- Hootenanny’s imaginative yoga adventures and animated poses keep little yogis’ creativity and bodies flowing. Themed classes enhance children’s concentration skills, refine motor coordination and improve socialization while kids learn about the wonders of their body. Fun yoga games teach cooperative play and sharpen listening skills. Kids yoga will plant the seed for a life-long love of physical and mental well-being.
DANCE- A creative movement class for you and your child. We will stretch and awaken our bodies, using a series called BrainDance developed by Anne Green Gilbert based upon the 8 movement patterns of early human development which wire the central nervous system. Then we will create our own dances using imagery and imaginative play. Special guest live musician!
