Yoga with Jackie! Mondays at 5:30, for 2-5s and caregivers
In yoga, we will learn fun ways to use our breathing to calm and focus our bodies and mind. We will build strength and confidence through fun poses, learn about animals and our environment and use or imagination through yoga adventures that also test our ability to problem solve. Filled with fun songs and activities to take home and build a family practice with, yoga is about being happy and healthy. $250 for ten weeks. Two sibling discount: $350!
Jackie Wolff (E-RYT 200 +). Jackie teaches yoga in the vinyasa flow style with additional expertise and teaching in gentle yoga, chair yoga, prenatal yoga, yoga for special needs populations, kids and family yoga and restorative yoga throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan. Her teaching is informed by conscious breathing and movement, using the chakra system and subtle body as a map for discovery and biofeedback. She is the founder of Brooklyn Balasana (RTM), providing yoga for families with special needs. Jackie is trained in trauma informed yoga, to which she applies through language and creating safe spaces in all of her classes from her prenatal classes in the nursery of Rikers Island to teaching yoga for wellness in the NYC public school system, to chair yoga with older adults at my YMCA classes to restorative yoga for parents living in the Ronald McDonald House to my signature playful musical vinyasa flow class I teach in studios throughout the city.
